Greetings Great Faith Family,

We pray this letter finds you experiencing God’s best.

As you may recall, our faith focus for 2024 is “Open Heart = Open Heaven - Come Home to Faith.” It’s been inspiring to witness this declaration unfold throughout our ministry, marking it as one of our most significant years yet. This year has been filled with intentional faith, inspired fellowship, and impactful favor for every partner connected to the vision of Great Faith Church.

This year also marks a special milestone: the 35th wedding anniversary of our beloved Pastors, Patrick and Angela Ligon!

Thirty-five years ago, our Pastors made a covenant to have and to hold, for better and for better, for richer and for richer, in healing and in health, to love and to cherish, until transition do them part. Their commitment initiated a generational blessing that continues to enrich many families, including our church family.

On Sunday, June 2nd, during God Encounter Sunday, we will celebrate this significant milestone. We invite you to participate in their 35th Anniversary Celebration by joining us both in-person and online and by preparing to sow a monetary love gift. While it’s a time of celebration, it is truly a designated time of honor.

1 Timothy 5:17 AMP reminds us, “The elders who perform their leadership duties well are to be considered worthy of double honor (financial support), especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching [the word of God concerning eternal salvation through Christ]”

Opportunities to honor our spiritual leaders are God-given moments to tap into the grace that is upon their lives. We believe this intentional seed will be a catalyst for supernatural supply, supernatural wisdom, and supernatural strength.

Grace for Supernatural Supply:

“And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AMP)

Grace for Supernatural Wisdom:

For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things         (Proverbs 4:7 KJV)

Grace for Supernatural Strength:

“[We pray that you may be] strengthened and invigorated with all power, according to His glorious might, to attain every kind of endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God’s people) in the Light.” (Colossians 1:11-12 AMP)

This grace extends beyond marital relationships. We are in agreement to see your families, friendships, finances, careers, businesses, health, and all aspects of your lives blessed! God’s principle of sowing and reaping is clear.

Whatever good you do for others, God will make it happen for you! When you determine to sow, God is obligated to provide seed. That’s His promise.

Ephesians 6:8 KJV: “Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord.”
