Welcome to the family of God. 

Now that you are saved, you will need to do the following to experience all that God has for you.

  1. Communicate to God in prayer.

  2. Always give God thanks and praise.

  3. Study God’s Word and know it’s true.

  4. Be baptized.

  5. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.

  6. Become a member of a Bible believing, Bible teaching church.

 

Communicate to God in Prayer

Prayer is your privilege as a believer. It is a private relationship between you and God through verbal communication. Prayer is a sincere conversation with God.

Always give God thanks and praise

God inhabits the praised of his people. Give God thanks and praise for who He is and what He has done.

Study God’s Word and know it’s true

God has revealed Himself to us through His Word. Spend time in God’s Word and find our the rights you have. When you do this, righteousness will become an active and powerful force in your life.

Be baptized

Water baptism symbolizes the birth, death and resurrection of our Lord. Christ commanded water baptism and therefore, believers should be baptized in the water as public demonstration of our inward commitment to Jesus Christ.

Be filled with the Holy Spirit

After you make Jesus the Lord of your life, it is the will of God that you experience the fullness of the Holy Spirit. That you are baptized with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, you receive power. It edifies your personal relationship with God. It also allows you to pray God’s perfect will from your natural understanding and aids you in interceding for others.
